“One of the greatest diseases is to be nobody to anybody.” – Mother Teresa
Project Panama is an effort to reduce child mortality by addressing issues of health and hunger, clean water, and literacy and education among the “invisible” orphans in Panama. What we do know is that Panama’s Central Authority estimates that the Country has between 30K and 50K orphans. In 2005 Unicef estimated that there were 53K orphans in Panama. Central Authority has very limited resources to address this issue. Project Panama is an effort to change that.
